Margaret's Vision
Margaret Chlebek is a mother and community advocate running for alderman to make our neighborhood and city better. She believes in fully funding public safety to reduce crime, lowering property taxes, and welcoming new families and businesses into Des Plaines. Margaret is not a career politician, she is a concerned citizen who wants to improve our community.
Campaign Goals
Lowering Taxes
As a single mother, Margaret knows the pain caused by inflation and understands families cannot afford more. Margaret will not increase property taxes. She will help families save and get ahead.
Keeping us Safe
Margaret chose to bring her family to Des Plaines because it is a safe community. Margaret will fully fund public safety to make sure our first responders have the support they need to keep us safe.
Growing our Community
Margaret wants people and families of all ages to discover what makes Des Plaines special. Margaret supports business growth while preserving our community character.
